My good cheer makes the world just that much kinder.

Update: Happy was adopted on December 11th!

We are so proud of Happy, and how she has remained upbeat and joyful despite recent losses that resulted in her becoming homeless at 13 years of age.

She is a small Beagle mix, spayed, and rescued from another shelter where she was taken when her previous owner died.

Happy is great with other dogs and adores their company.  She is surprisingly zippy and spunky for her advanced age, though her hearing has diminished.

We cannot emphasize enough the emotional rewards that come with adopting senior animals like Happy, or animals with special needs.  One of the benefits is the reminder that every single day of life is precious.

Please come meet Happy.  She is ready for adoption and ready to share tremendous love with you.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this regal portrait of Happy to help her find a caring home.
