I did not understand why he hit me.

Update: Mistletoe was adopted on December 27th!

Mistletoe is a precious baby girl, a Jack Russell Terrier puppy of 7 months, with tremendous loving potential.

Her heart is pure gold, she is full of energy, and she is learning to trust humans again.

The background on Mistletoe that we received was that she was bred for sale by a local backyard breeder.  She was sold as a very young puppy, but then taken back from the purchaser because he was abusing and mistreating her.  The breeder then brought her to Nevada SPCA because she was 'too old' to sell again.

We had Mistletoe spayed and she debuts for adoption today.

She enjoys other sweet dogs and needs a patient owner who will help her continue her emotional recovery from the abuse.  Lots of daily playtime and a stable lifestyle routine will go far in letting her feel safe and secure.

As we always need to mention with pups, please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection.
