Will I ever feel safe and secure again?

Update: Sugar was adopted on October 12th!

Sugar
needed rescue when her owner began chemotherapy treatments and could no longer care for her.

She is beginning to gain confidence. But she was very traumatized at the time of surrender and tried nipping our staff.

Though she has no history of biting, to err on the safe side for dog bite prevention, Sugar requires an experienced, adult-only home.

Sugar is a snow-white Toy Poodle, spayed, and between 4-5 years of age.

She is reportedly housetrained and good with other calm dogs.

Please plan on and budget for regular grooming for her.

Ideally, she needs a gentle, patient owner who can help reassure her that she belongs and has nothing to fear.

Sugar debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
