Let me become your superstar!

Update: Chulo was adopted on November 19th!

This sweet boy was found at the Grand Canyon, one of many dogs who are lost or abandoned there each year.

Park employees took him to a local boarding facility, which temporarily protected him, since there is not a shelter there for the animals.

We agreed to take Chulo and three other rescued dogs so that the boarding facility would have room for future Grand Canyon rescues.

Chulo loves other dogs, though he is choosy with which ones he bonds to and adores.

He is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door), though we did catch him peeing on a potted plant, so he may need your guidance and a regular routine to get back on track with housetraining.

Chulo is a butterscotch & white Heinz 57 with Shepherd. He is neutered and approximately 5 years of age.

He is reportedly anxious around young children, so he should only be around adults and possibly older children.

Chulo has a fun-loving, exuberant, and sunny personality. His good cheer shines through in his smile and warm eyes.

Chulo debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
