If you support Nevada SPCA, then you helped save my life.

Update: Bonita was adopted on January 2nd!

We rescued Bonita more than two months ago after she had been severely attacked by a larger dog.

She was in shock and had enormous gaping wounds on her upper back and neck.

Her owners would not or could not provide the emergency medical care needed to save her life, so we stepped in and rushed her into intensive care.

Bonita has healed and recovered very well, and today she is ready to debut in adoptions at Nevada SPCA.

Bonita is a pretty Miniature Pinscher, spayed, and approximately 8 years of age.

She is a lovebug, yet timid until she gets to know and trust you.

Bonita enjoys the company of other small, calm dogs. But please keep her away from all large dogs who may re-trigger reminders of the attack.

Bonita's nuisance habit is reportedly jumping on counters, which she apparently loves to do and ignores attempts at diminishing this behavior.

She is very fortunate to be alive. We are deeply grateful to all of you who support our lifesaving work for animals with financial donations so that we can protect and rehabilitate animals in emergency need, like Bonita. Thank you.
