I need someone I can count on forever.

Update: Bitsy was adopted on October 26th!

Bitsy
is a very sensitive girl, weary from losing one home after another -- and she is only one year of age!

We rescued her from another shelter after she had been surrendered there twice and ran out of time.

Imagine giving all of your love and devotion to your caretaker and then being rejected for reasons you cannot understand.

As with the vast majority of animals in shelters and rescue programs, Bitsy most likely did nothing wrong. Her rejections speak more about the failings and shortcomings of the people who previously cared for her.

She is a petite, gentle Dachshund mix, spayed, and one year young. She debuts today for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
